A small, independently owned veterinary practice is seeking a vet to join the team on a part time basis from June onwards.
There is 1.5-2 days per week on offer.
The current close-knit team of five vets and eight nurses have been with the clinic for over ten years. There is no sole charge, so there is always another veterinarian on hand to assist with cases or offer advice. The practice regularly utilises specialists and has visiting surgeons.
The team are focused on providing fantastic care along with a warm, friendly and personalised service for pets and owners.
The role would be well suited to a vet who enjoys interacting with clients and pets. The successful vet should get along well with staff and understand the practice values. The clientele is very loyal and easygoing.
This is a good opportunity to work at a practice that is open to new ideas while in the process of re-inventing themselves.
The day to day schedule is flexible to accommodate more time for complex cases and other consults, such as behaviour and skin cases.
No after-hours are required, and there is the option to refer complex and critical cases.
The practice is well-equipped with a brand new IM3 dental machine, IDEXX catalyst, lasercyte, anaesthetic machines and ultrasound. They are in the process of getting DR radiographs.
The clinic is located just 1.5 hours south of Sydney, in a beautiful coastal region.
