A) A locum vet working in the West Yorkshire area, wanting a permanent base with an experienced, certificate-led hospital team, in-house CPD support, insurances, pension and memberships paid, etc… all whilst you continue to locum?
B) A vet already working at a practice but you’re not getting the referral caseload you desire, and would consider doing 1 day per week (and 1 weekend in 4) with a hospital to focus on your referral work? Are you wanting to increase your exposure to ophthalmology, dermatology and ECC case-workups?
C) A back-to-work parent who could manage 1 in 4 weekends and a flexible weekday shift or two to support school hours and create a good work-life balance?
The opportunities on offer:
– 15 to 25-hour contracts including 1 in 4 weekends (no sole charge, Sat and Sun, 10-hour shift each)
– 10 hours, 1 day per week
– 18 to 20 hours, 2 days per week shift patterns, Monday to Friday

Following a recent extension, the workspace has almost tripled, and the facilities have been developed. The practice is well-equipped with digital x-ray and advanced ultrasound with doppler, dental x-ray, Lasercyte haematology, flexible video gastroscope, flexible bronchoscope, video otoscope and rigid scope, APTT/PT, Angio/Felv/FIV/Giardia/Parvo/ProBNP, Transfusion Medicine, Lipid/Colloids and Catalyst Dx including Lactate, T4, NH3, Electrolytes.
The practice is located in West Yorkshire, close to the bustling city of Leeds. Yorkshire is a beautiful part of the country and offers great transport connections from its easily accessible network of motorways and rail services.
