A well-established and highly regarded clinic on the beautiful Sunshine Coast is seeking an organised and proactive Practice Manager to join their team. This is a pivotal role designed to streamline the daily operations of a busy, high-standard veterinary practice.
The position offers a flexible 2 to 3 days per week, allowing for an excellent work-life balance in one of Queensland’s most scenic regions.
The Practice & Team
Current staff include the practice owner and two associate veterinarians who operate in a cohesive, supportive, and caring environment. The clinic is known for high-end clinical care, performing advanced small animal medicine and surgery (including orthopaedics), supported by an in-house laboratory, digital imaging, and ultrasonography.
Duties & Responsibilities
The successful candidate will oversee the smooth running of the ‘front of house’ and administrative functions, including:
– Reception Excellence: Coordinating the client experience and managing the appointment flow.
– Inventory Management: Overseeing drug and consumable ordering to ensure optimal stock levels.
– Financial Administration: Managing debt collection and ensuring practice accounts are up to date.
– Team Leadership: Supervising staff and fostering a positive, productive workplace culture.
– Nursing (Optional): For candidates with a clinical background, nursing shifts can be integrated into the roster if desired, though this is not a requirement.
