A small animal practice based in the beautiful County Durham has a vacancy for an out-of-hours veterinarian to join the dedicated night team.

This part-time role will involve working 7 continuous nights followed by 21 days off (7 nights in a 4-week cycle).

Accommodation can be provided if required. The practice is offering a competitive salary of up to £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.

This practice has an array of in-house equipment to help you care for the inpatients. Equipment includes an in-house laboratory, digital x-ray, ultrasound, upper and lower GI tract endoscopes, rigid female canine cystoscope, bronchoscope, and laparoscopic equipment.

The practice employs certificate holders in various disciplines, including surgery and medicine, and will happily support further training.

Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science or equivalent and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner.

The practice is located in the North East of the UK in County Durham, in a bustling market town, and is just minutes between Durham City and Barnard Castle.
