Do you have a passion for both ECC work and feline medicine?

Experienced night clinicians required!

A unique and exciting opportunity has become available to work at a privately owned, multi-vet feline clinic in the heart of London!

This purpose-built, Gold Standard practice is currently expanding and recently launched their 24-hour emergency service.

In this full-time role, you will see an interesting and varied caseload, with a mixture of first opinion work and a rapidly increasing number of challenging second opinion and referral cases.

The night rota is likely to be 7 days on, 7 days off. However, this is flexible.

To be successful in this position, you will ideally have at least 3 years post-qualification with experience in ECC and a keen interest in in feline medicine. The position is medicine and in-patient management heavy, but as the position is sole-charge, your surgery skills should allow you to comfortably perform non-routine emergency procedures, such as c-sections, exploratory GI surgery, chest drain placement, etc.

The ideal applicant will also show a commitment to building trusted relationships with their team members as well as their clients. You must love cats and be passionate about what you do.

Training can be provided, and if you are studying towards a certificate or post-graduate qualification, the caseload will enhance any study or certification theory with practical exposure.

The practice is extremely modern and well-equipped with all the usual toys.

The employer will consider sponsorship (work permit) for suitably qualified and experienced applicants.

Benefits of the role include RCVS fees paid, CPD funded, enhanced paid sick leave, private health insurance, pension, and a discount for your own pets' medical insurance. In addition to a negotiable salary, the employer also offers a discretionary performance bonus.

The hospital is conveniently located in an area that has been voted by the Sunday Times on several occasions, as the best place to live in London. It is extremely well connected, close to many tubes, stations, and just minutes from London Bridge.
