This small animal practice in Queensland is seeking a confident and enthusiastic new graduate veterinarian to join the team.

The start date is flexible.

The right candidate for the role will have great communication skills and a friendly, positive attitude to work. This busy clinic requires someone who is ready to be part of a team that supports each other with the daily caseload.

You will be joining a five-vet team who prides themselves on the great clinic environment they have created and the care they give each of their clients and patients. The team includes four senior vets with 15-30 years of experience each. The practice has a high staff retention rate.

In this role, you will see an interesting and varied caseload and be fully supported by an experienced and dedicated mentor. You will also benefit from a graduate development program that supports your transition from uni to practice.

The successful candidate will work a four-day week with flexible rostering and a scheduled one-hour lunch break. After-hours are shared by all vets and another clinic in town. This means only one weeknight per week and every 5th weekend. Time off in lieu is given for working the Saturday morning. There is a dedicated triage service to filter the non-urgent calls.

The clinic is well-equipped with digital x-ray, IM3 dental, Abaxis biochemistry, in house laboratory, excellent local pathology, ultrasound and more.

Located approx 6 hours north of Brisbane on the coast, this area boasts a relaxing atmosphere and everything from beaches to bushland and the perfect climate. It is close to good reefs for snorkelling and great fishing and diving spots.
