A BESTPRACTICE accredited clinic in the Horowhenua region is seeking a new graduate veterinarian to join their passionate team. This mixed practice has been providing exceptional care and service to the local community for over 80 years.

The practice services a large number of farming and lifestyle clients. You can expect a truly varied caseload of companion animals, dairy, sheep and beef, goats, alpacas, horses and deer!

Special interests amongst the farm and mixed practice vets include cattle reproduction, surgery and orthopaedics.

This is a 9 vet team, with 4 dedicated vets dedicated to their mixed practice caseload, as well as 5 companion animal vets. Rest assured, you will also receive plenty of support from the 8 skilled vet nurses! The farm team also houses an experienced veterinary technician and two support staff.

The successful applicant will work with an experienced team, including senior clinicians who have advanced qualifications and special interests in medicine, surgery and rehabilitation.

If you’re seeking a multi-vet practice that will both challenge and support you, as well as encourage you to hone and master your clinical skills, this is the clinic for you!

Practice hours:

Mon to Fri, 8am – 5.30pm

Sat, 9am – 3pm
