An exciting opportunity has become available for a new graduate to join a four vet team in a well-established clinic in Tasmania!

The successful candidate will see a wide range of cases, including dairy and beef cattle, pleasure and harness racing horses, alpacas, sheep and goats. The caseload is approximately 75% small animals, 25% large animals and of the large animal work, 60% would be with dairy cattle.

The opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8:45 am to 5:30 pm, and Saturdays, 9 am to 12 pm.

The successful applicant must be motivated and provide exemplary patient care and excellence in customer service. Excellent communication skills with clients and staff are essential.

As well as working alongside experienced vets, you will be supported by a team of veterinary nurses and a practice manager.

Continuing education in encouraged and supported

The clinic is fully equipped with all you should need in general practice, including Vision VPM software with an integrated in-house IDEXX lab machine, digital radiography and ultrasound.

The employer will assist with relocation costs and short term accommodation.

The practice is located close to the beautiful North West Coast. There are local shops and amenities nearby. There are lots of scenic attractions and outdoor activities to enjoy in your spare time.
