A well-established and progressive, 5 vet, small animal practice in Queensland is seeking a confident and enthusiastic new or recent graduate veterinarian to join their team. The team dynamic is very supportive, with a wide skill set amongst the existing vets to help mentor and train graduates.
This is a full time position worked as a 4-day week with flexible rostering. Time off in lieu of working Saturday mornings. The after hours is shared by all vets and another clinic once you are ready. This means only 2 weeknights on call per month and every 6th weekend on call. Plus they have a dedicated triage service to filter the non-urgent calls.
The practice provides full support with an experienced and dedicated mentor. You will also benefit from a Graduate Development Program, which supports your transition from uni to practice.
Consult times are blocked out to allow further workup / research / notes /patient follow-up care to allow you to learn how to be an awesome vet.

The clinic is well equipped with digital x-ray, IM3 dental, dental x-ray, IDEXX biochemistry and haematology, Imagyst cytology, in-house laboratory, excellent working relationship with local pathology lab, ultrasound and everything you could ask for to be an excellent vet.
Generous salary package including a base salary of $75,000 for new grads + super.
