A full-time role will involve working a 4-day week. 1 in 3 weekends will be on call as well as a share in the weekday after hours.
This is a well-equipped clinic with IDEXX in-house pathology, digital x-ray, ultrasound, Vision software, IM3 dental equipment and a surgery equipped with modern anaesthesia and monitoring equipment. The practice also has a mobile clinic that services the local scenic countryside providing clients with routine veterinary care without them having to leave their homes.
The successful applicant will be required to undertake small animal medicine and surgery. In addition, there is the opportunity to undertake large animal work. This is mainly beef cattle with the occasional sheep, alpaca and goat client. The practice does not see any equine patients.
