A modern country practice based in Central Queensland is seeking a mixed practitioner to join their team.

This mixed clinic will allow you to develop your skills in a variety of areas, including small animals, cattle and horses. The large animal work is approx 30% beef cattle work. There is only a small amount of equine work at the practice. The practice also sees some birds, pocket pets, reptiles and wildlife. Here you will gain experience in all facets of mixed practice in this friendly environment. No two days are the same!

The successful applicant will join a dedicated four-vet team who are supported by competent, qualified nurses.

The practice offers radiology, ultrasound, clinical pathology, vaccinations, orthopaedic and ophthalmic surgeries, along with basic pet health. Equipment includes digital x-ray and developer, dental unit, wet bench, ultrasound, full Idexx in-house laboratory & fluid pumps, multi-parameter monitoring, bovine fertility testing equipment, and full surgery including quantry suction.

Clinic hours are 8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday, and 8 am to 11 am on Saturday.

To apply for this role, applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science or other relevant qualification and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner in Queensland.
