An excellent opportunity has become for a mixed practitioner to join an expanding practice in country New South Wales.

The position is open to both experienced vets and new/recent graduates. New graduates will be supported.

The practice currently sees a mixed caseload of approximately 70% companion and 30% large animal (equine & cattle). There is scope to increase the large animal component if required.

This friendly, supportive team has created a fantastic place to work, becoming a valued part of the regional community. Support is on offer from experienced leads and a clinical team.

The ideal candidate will be driven and excited to help in taking the clinic to the next level. Applicants should have the desire to work in a mixed practice

environment and provide a high standard of care.

The vet will work a full time role (four days per week). Large animal on-call is shared amongst the team, and calls are triaged, meaning vets only see cases that require attention.

Facilities and services include:

- Digital radiography in 2 locations

- Ultrasound for large and small animals - 3 machines with all probe sizes

- Endoscopes, including a bronchoscope

- Rigid Rhinoscope

- iM3 Elite Dental station and iM3 Dental Xray in both locations

- Multi-parameter anaesthetic monitoring

- In-house blood machines, Idexx Catalyst and Procyte plus Coag and urine analyser

- i-Stat blood gas monitor

- Small Animal Orthopaedics

- Separate dog/cat hospital wards, isolation, diagnostic room and dog runs

- Equine facilities, including horse stocks, powerfloat

- Mare Reproduction

- Cattle Pregnancy Testing

- Bull Semen Evaluation

- Two dedicated, fully stocked cars

The employer is willing to assist with a work permit (sponsorship) for suitable overseas candidates. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner in Australia.
