Mixed Practice Vet Job in NZ - 198,440AM

An exciting opportunity for a veterinarian to work with a truly mixed caseload at a practice in the beautiful Otago Region is available.

The mixed practice caseload includes sheep, beef cattle, deer, horses, a handful of dairy farms, lifestyle blocks, and a large variety of small animal work, including working dog orthopaedics.

The small animal clinic is well-equipped with digital x-ray, in-house biochemistry and electrolyte analyser, and the ability to perform Ossability TTA surgery in-house. From a large animal perspective, the clinic is proactive with animal health planning and has a wonderful, loyal client base.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work with highly experienced vets who have 40+ years of combined rural mixed practice experience.

The clinic is part of a larger group providing opportunities to share experiences and knowledge with the wider organisation.

Nestled in the country's beautiful Otago Region, the location offers an overflowing amount to see and do. There are ample national parks and ski fields to explore as well as vibrant cafes, restaurants and southern wildlife to see. All the scenery and outdoor sports that the South Island is famous for are at your doorstep.
