This is an exciting opportunity to lead, inspire and thrive in a fulfilling veterinary leadership role in northern New South Wales.

This practice is seeking a dynamic small animal or mixed practice vet to lead its passionate team.

The practice prides itself on delivering exceptional care to its beloved patients and fostering meaningful connections with their owners. The team are renowned for their dedication to enhancing the welfare of animals, people and their community. You will enjoy working in a vibrant environment with six dedicated veterinarians and support staff.

As the lead vet, you will collaborate closely with the clinic coordinator and management team to oversee daily operations, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained. Your role will encompass mentoring and managing veterinary associates and nursing staff, alongside providing top-tier veterinary services.

What sets this practice apart is its diverse caseload. They really do see it all here! The mix of work is 70% small animal, including companion animals, pocket pets, birds and wildlife and 30% large animal consisting of cattle, horses, sheep, goats, alpacas and even the occasional camel.

The ideal candidate will possess:

– Minimum 5 years of experience in small or mixed animal practice.

– Proficiency in surgical procedures and general practice medicine.

– Demonstrated leadership and mentorship capabilities.

– A proactive and positive attitude, leading by example in delivering excellence.
