Maternity Cover Vet Job VIC - 220,736MC

Are you an experienced equine or mixed animal veterinarian who wants to join a well-renowned and well-established clinic?

Work from August 2024 to January 2025 OR September 2024 to February 2025. If you are available for at least one month during this period please contact Vetlink.

The practice is seeking a predominantly equine vet to assist during the equine reproduction season as a priority. They will also consider applications from mixed animal vets with repro and general GP equine skills and can offer dairy and small animal work as well, if desired.

This long-established practice is comprised of a main hospital, nearby branch practice, and a purpose-built equine hospital.

You will have access to a fully-equipped hospital which has recently undergone extensive renovation and expansion, including four consult rooms, a dedicated room for dentistry, imaging including CT, a huge surgical theatre and treatment area, plus hydrotherapy and rehabilitation. There are full equine surgery facilities and everything needed for cattle work. They have a large equine reproduction caseload including fresh and frozen AI.

The practice has a great client base of progressive dairy and beef farmers and an ever-expanding population of dedicated equine and small animal owners that trust them with the care of their animals.
