Are you ready to lead and support a high performing team that values workplace culture, work-life harmony and professional growth as much as excellent patient outcomes?

Whether you are taking the next step in your career or have previous leadership experience, this role comes with every level of support and development required to succeed and advance!

A practice on Queensland's sunny Gold Coast is seeking a lead veterinarian to join their team.

As a busy clinic, the caseload is both challenging and rewarding. The team is supported by dedicated and experienced vet nurses who help to deliver excellent standards of care and quintessential customer service. As a result, the clinic has attracted a client base that is keen to perform comprehensive diagnostic workups and advanced surgery when recommended.

The employer understands the importance of a great work-life balance, and vets at the practice are never rostered past 6 pm. The practice also offers family-friendly rostering and job-share opportunities. No after-hours, Sundays or public holidays are required.

On offer is the chance to work in a supportive environment with industry-leading mentorship, leader development programs, generous remuneration, excellent performance incentives and the latest veterinary equipment. Vets receive access to bespoke CPD programs, instructional surgical videos, and other resources such as VIN and CE annual allowance plus five weeks of annual leave and one week of paid study leave.

The ideal vet will bring their passion, ideas and expertise to the practice while embracing the opportunity to do their best in non-routine situations. Applicants should have excellent communication and rapport building skills to generate strong professional relationships.

Relocation assistance is available for both interstate and international candidates. Sponsorship (work permit) available for suitable overseas candidates. Applicants must hold a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and be eligible to register with the Veterinary Surgeons Board of Queensland.

If working at this high-performing clinic isn't enticing enough, the location is amazing. The area in and around the practice is rich with master-planned communities and resort-style living. From here, it's a short drive to the stunning beaches of the Gold Coast, the bright lights of Brisbane City and Surfers Paradise. With all there is to see and do in the area combined with stunning year-round weather, you will really appreciate a generous roster that allows plenty of time to enjoy it!
