A lead veterinarian is needed at a practice located in the Southern Tablelands of New South Wales.

This is a full-time role to work Monday to Friday. There is no weekend work required.

The team handles a caseload of 95% small animals and 5% large animals, serving both pastoral and hobby farmers. However, the practice can accommodate veterinarians who prefer a 100% small animal focus.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized with exceptional communication skills and a passion for both personal and professional development.

The clinic is fully equipped with a dental machine, x-ray, ultrasound, comprehensive lab facilities, and a dedicated surgery room. An outcall vehicle is available, and the clinic works closely with a sister practice that provides advanced surgical and imaging services, including MRI and CT scans.

The employer is willing to assist with a work permit (sponsorship) for suitable, experienced overseas candidates. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner in Australia.

Support with relocation costs is available for overseas candidates.

This practice is situated in a scenic winery region, just 30 minutes from Canberra and 2 hours from Sydney, offering an ideal balance between nature and convenience with easy access to both beaches and ski slopes.
