An opportunity has arisen to lead a great team at a large clinic in Brisbane’s inner northern suburbs.
The role offers exposure to a wide variety of cases, including a high volume of feline patients. The team has a long-standing and established client base who are loyal to the practice.
The position will allow the successful vet to work in a growth-focused environment where development is prioritised.
Applicants should have a flexible, adaptable approach along with a commitment to gold-standard care and a passion for pets. Vets should possess excellent animal handling skills, great organisation, communication and customer service skills. As a lead vet, a commitment and interest in working in a team environment is essential.
There are four consult rooms, a large treatment room, two surgeries, a radiology room, a dog ward, a separate cat ward, isolation and treatment wards, a radioactive iodine ward, as well as ICU cages with oxygen capability in the treatment room. The clinic is well-equipped with in-house bloods, digital and dental radiology, ultrasound with cardiac ultrasound potential, cautery, multi-monitors including ECG and blood pressure, doppler and petMAP blood pressure monitoring.

The employer is willing to assist with a work permit (sponsorship) for suitable overseas candidates. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner in Australia.
The practice is located in an inner suburb on the north side of Brisbane, close to shops, restaurants, and local parklands. It is situated within a 15-minute drive of Brisbane CBD.
