Would you like to work at a privately-owned hospital in one of the most attractive places in Western Australia?
An exciting opportunity is available for a recent graduate or an experienced veterinarian to work as part of a 3-vet team on Western Australia’s beautiful southern coastline.
The successful applicant will be supported and mentored by two experienced vets.
Start in late 2024 or early 2025.
Experienced vets can choose to work on a full-time or part-time basis (between two and four days per week).
The successful applicant will not be required to do any after-hours calls. There is the option to do after-hours on a 1:3 rota basis if desired.
Salary:
Recent graduates – $80,000 p.a. plus super and up to $15,000 in after-hours payments.
Experienced vets – Up to $110,000 p.a. plus super. Payment for after-hours is up to $20,000 p.a.
The practice is modern and well-equipped, including a high-quality ultrasound machine, IDEXX machine and digital radiography.
The employer is willing to assist with a work permit (sponsorship) for suitable overseas candidates. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner in Australia.
The practice is located in a bustling town with several museums, galleries, restaurants and bars to enjoy. The local area also offers great fishing, surfing, swimming, diving, hiking, four-wheel-driving, camping and many other activities.
