A veterinarian is required to work in a well-equipped family-owned practice.

The successful applicant will see cats, dogs and exotics. The exotic caseload adds an interesting, fun and sometimes challenging aspect to the role.

The senior vet (owner) is available to mentor a new member of staff. The staff work as a team and help and support each other. Recent graduates and experienced vets are welcome to apply.

The surgery (building) is over 100-year-old and fully renovated.

Equipment at the practice includes digital x-ray, endoscope, a fully equipped theatre, fully equipped lab, ultrasound and ECG.

The location is tucked away and not as busy as many areas of the UK. Some of the activities in the area include indoor and outdoor rock climbing, horse riding and sailing. People seem to love walking their dogs in the area. Many National Trust Houses and gardens are within a short drive.

There is easy access to North Wales, Liverpool and Chester.

The ideal applicant will enjoy working in a close-knit team in a family practice.
