A position has become available for a lead vet at a practice in a vibrant beachside city close to the southern tip of the Great Barrier Reef.
As a lead vet, the successful applicant will assist the long-standing, committed team of vets, nurses and practice manager in delivering great patient care to pets and clients in the region.
Equipment at the practice includes digital x-ray, ultrasound, IM3 dental x-ray, IM3 dental machine and scaler, in-house bloods, isolation facilities, full theatre facilities and orthopaedic and repro equipment. The high-quality ultrasound allows vets to perform abdominal ultrasound and echoes. If this is an interest of yours, there is the opportunity to upskill in this area. Other special interests are also encouraged and supported.
The employer is willing to assist with a work permit (sponsorship) for suitable overseas candidates. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner in Australia.
