This established practice on the Gold Coast has recently moved to amazing new premises. They currently employ GP vets as well as a medicine specialist and would like to expand their team!

As well as working alongside experienced GP vets and an in-house internal medicine specialist who is on hand to provide in-house training and support with difficult cases, you will also be supported by a team of nurses and a practice manager. The team practice a very high standard of surgery and medicine.

The role can be full or part-time. A full time role will involve working four days per week (8 am - 5:30 pm) plus every second Saturday morning (8 am - 12 pm), making for a great work-life balance. Part-time vets can work between 2-4 weekdays per week plus every second Saturday morning.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about practising to a high standard. Candidates should be willing to learn, continue their professional development and contribute to the overall development of the practice.

The employer is willing to assist with a work permit (sponsorship) for suitable overseas candidates. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner in Australia.

The brand-new, purpose-built facility is home to three consulting rooms, a surgical suite, ultrasound/procedure room, radiology room, dog and cat wards and a large treatment area. Equipment includes a brand new digital DR x-ray suite, DR digital dental X-ray, in-house IDEXX blood machines, a high-quality ultrasound machine, gold standard anaesthetic monitoring equipment, plus all of the standard small animal veterinary equipment.

Located in the northern suburbs of the Gold Coast, approximately 45 minutes from the Queensland capital, this practice is ideally situated in a top-class suburb with easy accessibility, close to the freeway.
