A veterinarian is required to join an experienced team at practice in coastal Queensland.

You will be joining a brilliant team of three full-time vets and one part-time vet.

This practice offers a client-focused approach and top-quality service. There is a busy surgical and medical caseload, and as there are no referral centres in town, the successful applicant will be exposed to complex cases.

Although this is a 100% small animal role, there is the opportunity to do some basic cattle work, if desired.

Ideally, the practice is looking for a full-time vet, however, they will consider vets wanting to work part-time hours. Typically, full-time veterinarians will work a four-day week.

The clinic is well-equipped with a brand new ultrasound, plating equipment, MMP equipment and standard hospital equipment (monitoring equipment, digital x-ray, and dental machine).

The employer is willing to assist with a work permit (sponsorship) for suitable overseas candidates. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner in Australia.

The practice is located just a short walk from the beach, beautiful parks and a shopping centre. There are many activities to get involved in around the area. Camping, fishing and other water sports are common hobbies among locals. The area has an airport and train facilities and is approximately 5-6 hours from Brisbane by car.
