The practice has a close-knit team consisting of three vets and many support staff. The team have a well-established and solid client base within the local community. The caseload is truly mixed – work up a lameness one day and perform a C-section the next! Large animal work is predominantly equine (90%).
This is a safe and supportive environment. The practice supports ongoing professional development, with a yearly allocation of $1500 for learning opportunities and one week of study leave.
This fully-equipped practice has all the usual diagnostic equipment and surgical facilities. The successful applicant will have access to state-of-the-art equine diagnostic equipment, including mobile direct digital x-ray, ultrasound, endoscope, powerfloat, a portable horse crush and more…
The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills, committed to delivering gold-standard care to patients. A confident and self-motivated attitude is desired.
The practice offers a competitive salary from $110k + super. Experienced vets (5+ years) can expect a salary of $140k + super. The successful applicant will have access to a fully stocked, dedicated work vehicle.
