SALARY: $85,000 to $140,000 pa + super (Commensurate with experience)

This practice is a 3 vet small animal clinic with a strong commitment to high standards of care.

The employer is looking for a Veterinarian who has a drive to do amazing things and wants to be part of an amazing team.

The employer strongly supports continuing education in interest areas and has a long-standing team with strengths in dental, ECC, surgery, and behaviour. VPB and Radiation License are included, as well as access to many CE programs through clinic membership.

The duties of the position are as follows:

– Undertaking medical and surgical treatment of small animals

– Assessing for the presence and nature of conditions through physical examination, lab testing and imaging

– Undertaking obstetric services, as required

– Administering drugs, analgesics, and anaesthetics as appropriate

– Immunize small animals against infectious diseases and notifying

– Advising clients on nutrition, hygiene, breeding and general health care of small animals

The skills and attributes required for the role are as follows:

– At least a Bachelor Degree

– At least 2 years of relevant work experience

– Enjoy learning new things

– Enjoy the challenge of complex cases and

– Genuinely enjoy interacting with your patients

– Open to continuing your professional development

– Have high standards of care

– Have an ability to have a laugh at work (may or may not include dancing)

Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner in Australia.
