A practice in South Western New South Wales is seeking a veterinarian to join their growing, friendly team.

New/recent graduates and experienced vets are welcome to apply.

The talented team consists of four vets, six qualified vet nurses and two reception staff. The team pride themselves on delivering gold-standard treatment, and the hospital is always looking to evolve and improve.

Typically, vets work four days per week with a weekly RDO. Currently, there is a 1 in 4 rotating after-hours roster. The owner focuses on and encourages a good work-life balance.

Salary is commensurate with experience, well above award, and regularly reviewed (ranging from $90K - $150K depending on experience). Continuing education is encouraged, and any special interests will be actively supported.

There are plenty of opportunities to work up cases and follow through on a variety of complex cases, with the nearest referral centre around 2-3 hours away. The hospital also services the local zoo. The team see a clientele who appreciate thorough workups.

The employer is willing to assist with a work permit (sponsorship) for suitable overseas candidates. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner in Australia.

The practice has multiple consult rooms, surgical suite, dental suite, large treatment area, separate dog/cat cards, two on-site horse stables, equine crush, ultrasound, digital x-ray, Idexx lab, IM3 dental, vet-tome, algarbrush, orthopaedic equipment, electrosurgical unit, cryosurgery, pulse oximeter, ETCO2, ECG, blood pressure monitoring, endoscopy, tonometry, power float and more!

The practice is located in South Western New South Wales, in a fast-growing regional centre. It is situated close to lots of vineyards to enjoy on your time off. There are local teams for nearly every sport and a National Park just around the corner.
