Are you a vet with a passion for cows but not so much for cats?

Are you career-driven but not keen on a large corporate practice?

Do you sometimes think there could be a different way of doing things?

Well… do we have the practice for you!

A small, independently owned large animal practice in the Northland region is adopting a new way of thinking.

They have three objectives:

– Happy clients by delivery of solutions, not just services

– Happy staff by the provision of career satisfaction, not just employment

– Happy owners & investors with a practice that achieves excellence in performance and results.

This position is open to both new graduates and experienced vets.

As a large animal practice, there is the opportunity to focus your career in a direction that suits you. Primarily delivering services to dairy and dry stock farms, you will develop key strategic relationships with rural-based clients. You will become part of an effective and well-respected team. If you are passionate about a particular specialism, the employer will investigate those options with you. Supporting your career will support the clients. Win-win!

The practice will work with you to achieve the career you aspire to. Want a balance of work with family and social life? Wonderful – they can help you achieve it. Alternatively, if you want to drive your career with aspirations of practice partnership, the employer can work with you on that too!

The practice is based on Northland’s rugged West Coast. As a rural community, it offers a smorgasbord of pursuits to whet the appetite of any outdoor activity enthusiast. The delights of Auckland are only a couple of hours away. The community ranges from successful business owners and farmers through to some of the most vulnerable – as a result, the practice is strongly motivated as a hub of support for the rural community.

All this together with a competitive remuneration package, relocation allowance and assistance with overseas relocation requirements (visa, immigration, etc.). This practice can offer a career worth aspiring to.
