A well-established BEST Practice Accredited practice in New Zealand’s Northland region has an exciting opportunity available for a mixed practice vet to join the team.
The successful applicant will join a team of experienced veterinarians who are passionate about giving the best animal care and outstanding service to their clients.
This is a full-time role offering a varied and interesting caseload, with approximately a 1:4 after-hours roster with days off after a weekend worked. The practice is open seven days a week.
The position involves predominantly dairy, with some beef, lifestyle, alpaca and basic equine work. You must be motivated and enthusiastic with a desire to develop your dairy skills and be able to build great relationships with the farm clients and team members.
Salary to be negotiated with the successful applicant. The employers value CPD and will support attendance at CPD that is relevant to the needs of the practice.
The clinic is well-equipped with digital x-ray, ultrasound, dental x-ray, fluid pumps and IDEXX. They value CPD and will support attendance at CPD that is relevant to the needs of the practice.
The clinic is located within easy reach of many beautiful beaches and there is outstanding fishing and diving close by. The beautiful, extensive coastline provides year-round fishing and diving opportunities, plus lots of hiking and horseback riding, to name a few activities!
