A well-established practice in Northern Sydney is looking for a new vet to join their close-knit, multi-vet team in a full time capacity.

The team see a range of interesting and challenging cases. The caseload is mostly small animal with some pocket pets and wildlife.

The successful vet will join a close-knit, large, dedicated team of professionals consisting of vets, nurses, and reception staff. There is a good vet-to-nurse ratio at the practice. The team pride themselves on providing a high level of service as well as a family-friendly environment where clients and patients feel comfortable and supported.

No out of hours or sole charge required. The full time role includes a 1:4 Saturday roster (8 am - 1 pm).

The ideal applicant will have a minimum of two years of experience along with exceptional time management and the drive to provide high levels of care. Applicants should be competent in a range of medical and general surgical procedures.

The state-of-the-art purpose-built hospital offers a variety of up-to-date medical services. Equipment includes digital x-ray, CT machine, Class IV Laser, dental x-ray, ultrasound and more.

The employer places focus on further education. As such, a dedicated budget is offered to all vets. Special interests are highly encouraged. Current special interests include ultrasound and orthopaedics.

The employer is willing to assist with a work permit (sponsorship) for suitable overseas candidates. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner in Australia.
