A practice in the southern suburbs of Perth is seeking to employ a full-time veterinarian.

This opportunity will suit a passionate veterinarian with an interest in reproduction and is open to receiving specialised training in this field.

Both experienced vets and new graduate vets are welcome to apply.

New graduate vets will be eligible to join a new graduate program. This is a 24-month mentored journey designed to support your transition from university to the professional world. The program focuses on key areas of development, providing hands-on clinical experience, business skills, personal well-being support, and exceptional client communication training. With accredited mentors, carefully selected clinics, and an extensive support network, the program offers an unrivalled opportunity to grow as a well-rounded general practitioner while enjoying a healthy work-life balance and a fun and supportive community.

The successful applicant will work as part of a three-vet team, however, there will be some periods of sole charge. Shifts are 8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday. The weekend rota is currently 1 in 2 but will be going to 1 in 3 (Saturdays).

The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced setting, as well as a desire to grow, learn and develop their career. Strong organisational and communication skills are desired.

The employer is willing to assist with a work permit (sponsorship) for suitable overseas candidates. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner in Australia.

The purpose-built building is very modern and well-equipped, including three consulting rooms, two surgeries, ultrasound, digital x-ray, Doppler blood pressure, Surgivet anaesthetic monitors, electrocautery, ultrasonic dental scaling, PCV and swing bucket centrifuges, microscopes including phase contrast, separate dog and cat wards and an in-house progesterone machine.

The practice is located in a beautiful southern suburb of Perth that has a blend of both urban convenience and natural beauty. The area is known for it's strong sense of community, friendly atmosphere and lovely scenery.
