An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced mixed practitioner to join a practice in Central Otago on a permanent basis.

The clinic is very well-equipped and sees a varied caseload of deer, dairy, sheep, beef and small animals. They also have a number of dairy clients.

The successful candidate will find themselves working amongst a skilled and compassionate team that aims to deliver the highest standards of care. The clinic prides itself on building strong relationships with its clients and is looking for a veterinarian who shares the same values.

The position involves, on average, one weeknight on call a week and no more than one in six weekends, including a Saturday clinic.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience with sheep, beef, deer and companion animals. Dairy and equine exposure is a bonus. A good understanding of large animal medicine and animal health products is also desired.

The practice is part of a larger group providing opportunities to share experiences and knowledge with the wider organisation.
