A well-established practice is seeking a large animal veterinarian to join their team in New Zealand's Northland region.

The practice welcomes the successful applicant to develop their dairy skills and build great relationships with the farm clients and team members.

This is a full time position offering a varied and interesting case load, with approximately 1:4 afterhours roster (PA only) with days off after a weekend worked.

The position involves predominantly dairy, with some beef, lifestyle, alpaca and basic equine work.

Salary to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

The clinic is Best Practice accredited and well-equipped including digital x-ray, ultrasound, dental x-ray, fluid pumps and IDEXX. They value CPD and will support attendance at CPD that is relevant to the needs of the practice.

The clinic is located within quick access to many beautiful beaches as well as outstanding fishing and diving activities close-by. Our extensive and beautiful coastline provides year-round fishing and diving opportunities plus lots of hiking and horseback riding to name a few activities!
