Full Time Vet Job in NZ - 205,375EH

A practice in Northland is seeking a motivated and proactive mixed animal veterinarian to join their team.

The successful applicant will work alongside 2 other vets (25 years experience and 3 years experience).

The hours to be worked are flexible. Vets seeking a part-time position, lifestyle change or wanting to move away from a high pressured role are encouraged to apply.

The practice employs a total of 14 vets over all the clinics with a wide range of experience. The team includes 2 dedicated companion animal veterinarians.

The workload is predominantly dairy, but there is also an opportunity to do companion animal, farm animal, and equine work. The employer is happy to tailor the mix of work to suit you.

Clinic hours:

Monday - Friday - 8am - 5pm

rostered Saturday morning clinic - 9am - 12:30pm

Closed on Sundays

1:5 weekends on-call with a day off the following week.

This practice actively encourages and funds CPD as well as paying the successful applicants NZVC registration, NZVA memberships and insurance.

A work vehicle and all equipment will be provided.

The practices are well-equipped, including digital x-ray, the latest pregnancy scanners and more.

This area is renowned for its surf beaches, fishing and beautiful scenery. It offers the best of both worlds. Spend the weekend discovering stunning beaches or drive an hour to Auckland and Whangarei.
