A privately owned, multi-vet team in The Lake District is looking to employ a predominantly large animal veterinarian on a permanent basis.
The successful applicant will have some experience (at least 12 months). However, you will be well-supported by a six-vet team.
The position offers a good mix of dairy, beef and sheep, and occasional small animal work.
This full-time role involves a four-day working week, including one long weekend off in five. The on-call rota is 2 in 5 with a long weekend off once every five weeks. You will be given a CPD allowance, a company pension and a company car (if required).
The practice focuses on preventative health in both herd/flock and domestic pets. They have been serving the local community for over a century.
The clinic has all the usual toys, including ultrasounds, x-ray and bull breeding soundness equipment.
