A unique opportunity has become available for a veterinarian to lead the team at Australia's most dedicated animal shelter.

The practice would like to employ an experienced vet who has passion, drive, and ability to work well with others. They should share the practice's vision of giving animals a chance for a happy, healthy life. Excellent clinical skills, communication, adaptability, and problem-solving are highly desired. The successful applicant will have previous experience in a similar leadership role.

This is a full-time role with a great work-life balance. The position will be Monday to Friday with 1 in 4 Saturdays.

With minimal client involvement, the successful applicant will have the opportunity to diagnose and manage cases independently and collaboratively. There is a wide range of cases, including: ophthalmology, orthopaedic surgery and behaviour medicine, to only name a few!

The clinic is well-equipped with modern imaging and diagnostic equipment.

The employer is willing to assist with a work permit (sponsorship) for suitable overseas candidates. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner in Australia.
