An exciting opportunity is available for an enthusiastic veterinarian to join this RCVS-accredited mixed practice in East Yorkshire.
The highly skilled, friendly and experienced team comprises 21 vets (16 full-time equivalents) and many nurses and support staff across two branches.
The practice is well-equipped with three surgical theatres with laparoscopic facilities, a CT scanner (at the main branch), a dental suite with dental radiography and a full rehabilitation department offering laser therapy and hydrotherapy. The practice offers a comprehensive in-house 24-hour service.
The employer actively encourages CPD and can offer support with starting or completing certificates. Many of the currently employed vets are certificate holders or studying towards certificates.
The ideal candidate will be confident with surgery and consulting and looking to develop their skills further within a hospital environment.
Ideally, the vet will work four days per week with a fixed day off, along with rotating weekends (1:4 or 1:5). There is the option for night work for interested candidates. The hours are flexible.
