An ASAVA Accredited hospital in Canberra is seeking a vet to join the team!

Both experienced and new/recent graduates are welcome to apply. The team are willing to support a new graduate in their first year in practice.

There are currently five vets at the practice. The successful applicant will become the sixth vet in this hard-working, skilled team. Vets at the practice have interests in various different fields. Support staff include dedicated receptionists, well-trained vet techs, vet nurses and animal attendants and a business manager.

The role is on a full time basis. The rostered hours make for a good work-life balance. No after hours required.

If the successful applicant is relocating to Canberra, temporary accommodation is available in a self-contained flat attached to the hospital.

Remuneration is above award and commensurate with experience. There may be partnership prospects for the right applicant.

The practice encourages special interests and is keen to expand their services.

The clinic is well designed and computerised with RXWorks software. Equipment includes digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscope, IDEXX in-house pathology and orthopaedic instrumentation.

The practice has a fear-free focus and a separate dedicated cat ward.

The area offers culturally rich activities and is in close proximity to magnificent national parks and snowfields. Explore culture, art and history throughout Canberra's museums, galleries and archives. There are also plenty of restaurants, markets and shopping precincts to enjoy.
