A veterinarian is required to join a group of high quality, well-established practices in South Australia.

Experience a fast-paced hospital environment with a large and highly experienced team, many of whom started their own graduate journey with the group.

The employer has three clinics (including two ASAVA accredited hospitals) in Adelaide, all of which are modern, well-equipped and support high medical, surgical and rehabilitation caseloads, including assisting with the veterinary services of a wildlife centre.

The group has a passionate and hard-working nursing team who deliver high levels of patient and client care and hands-on support, and there is access to an on-site mental health first-aider and employee assistance program.

New graduates, experienced and overseas vets are all welcome to apply. Assistance with visas, accommodation and car are available for overseas candidates.

Equipment includes CT, Digital CR X-ray facilities, fluoroscopy, full IDEXX laboratory, Cardell anaesthetic monitoring equipment, Doppler blood pressure machines, pulse oximetry, capnography, ECG, video endoscopy, bronchoscopy, surgical laparoscopy, colour flow Doppler ultrasound, IV infusion pumps, syringe pumps, full dental suite and an extensive library.

On offer is:

– A competitive above award salary commensurate with experience

– A flexible full-time roster that supports a work-life balance

– VSBSA registration and EPA radiation licence

– VIN membership

– A generous CPD allowance

The employer is willing to assist with a work permit (sponsorship) for suitable overseas candidates. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner in Australia.

Adelaide is listed as one of the most liveable cities. The sites are located within a short distance of beautiful coastlines, famous wine regions and the CBD with its thriving education, arts, sports and food scenes. Explore art, cultural and sporting events throughout the year, including Adelaide Fringe, Clipsal 500, WOMADelaide, and Illuminate.
