A new graduate veterinarian is required to join one of only thirty accredited ASAVA hospitals in Australia.

Start in late 2021/early 2022.

This position will see you working within a large, multi-vet team. As a new graduate, you will be given the opportunity to expand your medical knowledge and develop your surgical skills, as well as gain experience with ultrasound. You will also be exposed to advanced veterinary work such as laparoscopic surgery, cardiac ultrasound, advanced orthopaedic procedures, chemotherapy and dental imaging and surgery.

All hospitals within the group are modern and very well equipped. The main hospital is large, purpose-built and has conference room facilities with digital projection equipment.

The practice has all the toys and equipment, including Digital CR X-ray facilities, full IDEXX laboratory with Lasercyte and Istat machines, Cardel anaesthesia monitoring equipment, Doppler blood pressure machines, pulse oximetry, capnography, ECG, video endoscopy, bronchoscopy, surgical laparoscopy, new colour flow Doppler ultrasound with three probes, a full orthopaedic kit with high orthopaedic caseload and TPLO equipment, IV infusion pumps, syringe pumps, teaching quality microscope with digital camera and flat screen, full dental suite including pocket pet dental equipment and an extensive library with major journals and VIN.

Adelaide has much to offer, including close proximity to the Barossa Valley, which is one of Australia's best wine-growing areas. There is a good supply of well-priced restaurants and lots of sport, arts, music, and culture. The cost of living in Adelaide is less than many other capital cities.
