An opportunity for an experienced vet has become available in far north Queensland to take on a leadership role.
This role would suit a senior practitioner who wants to further expand their knowledge and experience in business management.
The successful applicant will be leading a team of four vets. This is a key leadership position, and is part of the senior management group, and will focus on upholding high standards of care, mentoring staff and managing the clinic.
This is a full-time, permanent position with an after-hours rota of one week per month.

Key duties/responsibilities:
– Mentor and lead clinic staff
– Ensure a high standard of care is maintained
– Manage the training and development personnel
– Conduct staff performance appraisals
– Conduct clinic performance analysis
– Oversee allocation of clinic resources

Within the clinic, there are many vets with varying special interests. The team at the practice are friendly, supportive and relaxed. The clinic is modern, and well-equipped with ultrasound, portable digital x-ray, large and small animal endoscopes, an IDEXX machine and much more.
