A great opportunity for a farm animal veterinarian has become available at an RCVS-accredited practice in Somerset, southwest England.

The practice prides itself on traditional service values with a modern approach. They have an experienced team of farm vets with expertise in the dairy sector.

The employer is seeking a positive, proactive clinician to join their happy team of seven vets. You will be working in a dairy area with plenty of beef and sheep work.

Vets at this practice enjoy a shared rota, a realistic workload, along with a competitive salary and generous CPD allowance. Post-grad qualifications are encouraged and there are DBR and Certificate holders in the team. The practice employs four ATTs ensuring clinical exposure with limited TB work.

You will have the support and freedom to focus on your areas of interest. You will have access to routine fertility work from day one. The clinic is equipped with Interherd, TotalVet, Diet-check and Ultrasound scanners. They also have farmer discussion groups and vet tech services, etc., allowing them to deliver a complete service.

Although experience is an advantage, consideration will be given to a recent graduate. The practice offers great CPD opportunities and training in-house, plus regular vet meetings and clinical reviews. By working with this team, you will become a first-class farm animal vet.
