The ECC and Critical Care team align closely with a specialist and referral centre, providing a multitude of varied caseloads, along with the ability to gain knowledge in neighbouring departments.

Work alongside a cohesive team of veterinarians, nurses and customer service staff who strive to provide the best standard of care to their clients, their referring veterinarians, and their staff.

The role will see the successful applicant become part of an experienced, committed team of vets and would be well-suited to an experienced, compassionate team player who possesses a professional manner, strong work ethic and high emotional intelligence.

Applicants should have a strong work ethic, a passion for emergency and ICU care, excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask under pressure, along with good problem-solving skills and great attention to detail. Vets should be able to work both independently and within a team.

The position includes:

- Working closely with surgery, ward and medicine teams.

- Intensive management of a combination of emergency and critical care cases.

- Supported ECC shifts with a balanced team of ECC clinicians.

To assist vets with offering the best possible care, the emergency department is well-equipped with two ventilators, high flow oxygen, multiparameters, beecardia portable ECG and more!
