Would you like to work within a great team of experienced veterinary specialists and excellent support staff at a large, multi-vet hospital with state-of-the-art facilities?
A first-class facility is seeking experienced veterinarians to join their friendly and dynamic Emergency and Critical Care team in Canberra.
The successful candidate will have an interest in emergency medicine. Previous experience working in an emergency hospital and memberships in emergency and critical care or the desire to obtain these qualifications, will be highly regarded, but are not essential. Excellent communication and organisational skills, along with the ability to work well within a team and independently when required, is a must.
This role would suit a vet who enjoys working in a busy, multi-disciplinary environment.
Full-time and part-time roles available. Vets will be required to work various rotational shifts including evenings, overnights, weekends and public holidays.
This position offers one weeks' paid study leave (including an allowance), access to regular tutorials, case discussion, in-house seminars and interaction with specialists.Assistance with relocation costs will be considered.
Equipment at this first-class facility includes digital x-ray machine, ultrasound, fully equipped surgery, ECG, BP and multiparameter, full in-house pathology, video endoscopy, oxygen tents, ventilator and much more. It is computerised with RxWorks.
Canberra has numerous facilities and attractions including educational institutes, easy access to snowfields, south coast beaches and is a 3.5-hour drive from Sydney.
