An exciting opportunity for an ECC Specialist to become part of a brand new multi-disciplinary referral hospital in Adelaide is now available.
This is a great opportunity to work in a large hospital with excellent facilities and a fantastic team of specialists, emergency vets and highly-trained nurses.
The hospital offers a wide range of services, including surgery, internal medicine, oncology, dermatology, ophthalmology, radiology, and rehabilitation. .
To be successful in this position, the applicant must have also completed an ANZCVS/ ACVECC/ ECVECC approved residency program in veterinary emergency and critical care. Vets who are yet to complete their examinations are also encouraged to apply, and the successful candidate will be supported in their studies and exams.
The role of the ECC Specialist will involve managing critical care cases, collaborating with departments on critical cases, educating clients and referring vets, managing emergency and critical care consultations, delivering the highest quality care, and providing training and mentoring to students and residents.
The employer is willing to assist with a work permit (sponsorship) for suitable overseas candidates. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner in Australia.

In-house equipment includes IDEXX laboratory, CT, digital radiology, high-resolution ultrasound, endoscopy and three ventilators - (Drager Evita 2 deva, Drager Evita 4 and Siemens Servo 300). The hospital has access to MRI facilities.
