A growing, independently owned practice is seeking an experienced veterinarian to join their team in a great location in north east victoria.

The dedicated team have many years of experience and knowledge of the local pet-owning community, and the clientele they see is ever-expanding and loyal. They pride themselves on a personal connection with clients and the local community.

The role would suit a vet with an interest in surgery. The position offers the chance to work alongside an experienced surgeon, and training will be provided if required. A specialist who performs TPLOs, arthroscopy and BOAS also visits the practice.

The ideal applicant will be looking to settle in the area long-term. Partnership prospects are available if desired.

The employer values staff and their well-being. Support with further training and development is on offer. The practice owner is happy to assist with relocation costs if required.

The practice is well equipped with ultrasound, digital x-ray, IM3 dental equipment, stryker, centrifuge and in-house pathology.

A typical full time roster would see vets working four days a week plus 1:3 Saturdays. After-hours are shared with another clinic in the area, resulting in 1 night on call per week & 1 in 4 weekends.

The employer is willing to assist with a work permit (sponsorship) for suitable overseas candidates. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner in Australia.

The clinic is situated in a picturesque part of North Eastern Victoria, in a large regional centre. The city of Melbourne can be reached in two hours.
