An independently-owned and run practice is seeking a permanent vet to join their 4.5 vet team.

Vets are supported by 6.5 RVNS, 2 trainee nurses, a practice manager and 3 dedicated receptionists.

The full-time role includes 36 hours per week over 4 or 5 days (depending on what the successful candidate would prefer). The vet will work 1:5 Saturdays from 9 am - 2 pm. No OOH or sole charge is required.

The practice is accommodating for things that arise, such as family emergencies and medical appointments - it is a family practice, and the ethos is to give and take.

The hospital is equipped with a full Idexx lab suite, including Procyte, 2 Catalyst biochem analysers and Sedivue, Sonobook 8 ultrasound (colour doppler, pulse wave, 3 probes, 2 micro convex, 1 phased array), digital x-ray, endoscopy, multiparameter anaesthesia monitoring, including CO2 (the nurses know how to use it), tonopen, bair Hugger and a dedicated cat ward.

The clinic is located just north of Birmingham city centre and within easy reach of Lichfield. It is close to a train station.
