A practice in New Zealand's Kapiti Coast District is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic companion animal veterinarian who has outstanding communication skills and a caring compassionate attitude. The position is 100% small animal and will also involve small animal after hours.

The clinic is a long-established mixed practice with a client base covering the Horowhenua, Kapiti and Wellington regions. The practice services all creatures great and small, from cats and dogs to pocket pets, farm animals, birds and horses. The team are customer-focused and take great pride in their relationship with the local community.

This is a permanent, full-time position. However, vets wanting part-time hours are still encouraged to apply.

Facilities at the companion animal clinic include 3 consulting rooms and 2 surgical suites which are well equipped with the latest equipment including digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, in-house laboratory, and ultrasound.

The practice is located in a close-knit semi-rural beach town between Wellington and Palmerston North and is known for its sunny weather. It's a great place to live and raise a family with fantastic access to a multitude of outdoor activities, excellent schools and cultural opportunities.
