A veterinarian is required to become part of a 4-vet team, at a family-owned practice in coastal Queensland. Both new/recent graduates and experienced vets are welcome to apply.

This practice offers a client-focused approach and top-quality service. There is a busy surgical and medical caseload, and as there are no referral centres in town, the successful applicant will be exposed to complex cases. The practice owner and experienced vets are available to mentor new/recent graduates in both medicine, and routine as well as more complex soft tissue surgery/orthopaedics.

Ideally, the practice is looking for a full-time vet, however, will consider vets wanting to work part-time hours. Typically, full-time veterinarians will work a four day week.

The start date is flexible and can be any time from early 2020.

The clinic is well-equipped with a brand new ultrasound, plating equipment, MMP equipment and standard hospital equipment (monitoring equipment, digital x-ray, and dental machine).

Sponsorship (work permit) is available for suitable overseas candidates.

The practice will provide assistance with relocation costs and offer the vet's first six months of accommodation, if required.

The practice is located just a short walk from the beach, beautiful parks and a shopping centre. There are many activities to get involved in around the area. Camping, fishing and other water sports are common hobbies amongst locals. The area has an airport and train facilities and is approximately 5-6 hours from Brisbane by car.
