A qualified and experienced veterinary nurse is required at a veterinary hospital in Sydney's South.

Nurses available to work between 3 and 12 months are encouraged to apply. Accommodation may be considered for the ideal applicant.

This is a full-service hospital with modern equipment including digital x-ray, in-house laboratory and the latest dental equipment. The clinic is computerised with Vetlink system.

This position has the flexibility to be either full or part time, working between 30 and 36 hours per week. Rotating weekends. The clinic opening hours are Monday to Friday, 7:45 am to 6:30 pm and Saturday 8:15 am to 1:30 pm.

To be successful in this position, you will be an energetic self-starter who prides themselves in exceptional client service as a veterinary nurse. You will have your Certificate IV (or equivalent) in veterinary nursing, and possess a highly developed skill set. You will be competent in anaesthesia monitoring, IV catheter placement and nurse consultations.

Your new role will be interesting and varied and will include a mixture of surgical nursing, reception duties, social media management and general animal care.

This practice is located on Sydney's beautiful southern shoreline, and is accessible by public transport.
