Vet Nursing Job in Sydney - 203,220LH

An exciting opportunity has become available for a veterinary nurse to join a fast-paced, busy practice in north-west Sydney.

The ideal candidate will be reliable and self-motivated with excellent communication skills. Previous experience with emergency care will be highly regarded.

Candidates will have a sound knowledge of surgical nursing, along with competency in medical nursing and the ability to work unsupervised.

This is a well-equipped, A-class hospital that practices a high standard of medicine and surgery with a full range of surgical, radiology, dental and laboratory equipment available. Computerised with RxWorks.

Two to three vets are rostered on each day.

Clinic opening hours are 7 am-11 pm Monday - Friday and 7 am-6 pm Saturday and Sunday.

The successful applicant will work 31 hours, over a 3-week rotating roster including working both weekdays and weekends. There is a possibility of extra hours when and if required.

Located in Sydney's north-western suburbs, the practice is in a clean, modern, family-friendly area, surrounded by restaurants, cafes, shops and amenities. The area is now accessible by the new Metro train line, allowing faster connections to Sydney's CBD.
